Terms and Conditions of Service for Noah Cargos
General Information
Noah Cargos is based in the UK offering UK-to-Nigeria air freight and shipping services, with door-to-door service for Air freight and Air port- Air port for shipping .Authorisation and Agreement
By making a pickup order via phone, email, SMS, or delivery to our UK warehouse, the sender or person entitled to delivery authorises Noah Cargos to pick up, ship, clear, and deliver goods. The sender or recipient agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.Prohibited Items
Noah Cargos does not accept the following for shipment: dangerous goods, weapons, banned goods, explosives, ammunition, counterfeit goods, animals, bullion, currency, gemstones, human remains, illegal items (e.g., ivory, narcotics), or hazardous materials.Pickup Cancellation
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel a scheduled pickup. A £20 fee may apply for cancellations without proper notice.Liability for Goods
Noah Cargos is liable for goods in its care or that of its agents only if full payment of shipping costs is made within four working days after the pickup date. Shipping costs are non-refundable.Compensation for Loss or Damage
Compensation is subject to proof of purchase within six months of shipment. No compensation will be provided without evidence of purchase. In cases without proof, compensation is at Noah Cargos’ discretion.Exclusion of Liability
Noah Cargos is not liable for:Damage caused by mixing liquids with other items.
Damage to perishable goods.
Damage to goods improperly packed or protected by the sender.
Scratches or damage to items without original manufacturer packaging.
Oversized or Overweight Items
Noah Cargos reserves the right to refuse pickup of clearly overweight or oversized packages. If accepted, surcharges may apply. Representatives are not obligated to carry such items upstairs or into storage areas.Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:Provide accurate recipient details, including name, address, and phone number.
Ensure all shipments comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Use proper packaging to securely wrap and cushion items for transport.
Fragile Items
Fragile items such as glass, mirrors, ceramics, and lighting accessories are shipped at the customer’s own risk. Noah Cargos cannot guarantee their safety during transit.Complaints and Claims
Complaints must be made in writing within 24 hours of receiving goods. Complaints regarding damages require proof, including invoices or receipts. Claims submitted without following this process may be rejected. Noah Cargos will respond to complaints within 21 working days after investigation.Non-Delivery or Unclaimed Goods
If a recipient cannot be reached or declines delivery, Noah Cargos will attempt to return the shipment at the sender’s expense. Unclaimed shipments after 7 days may be disposed of, sold, or released, with proceeds used to cover administrative costs.Liability for Packing and External Damage
Noah Cargos is not liable for:
Damage to fragile items.
TV damage when other items are packed in the same box.
External damage to appliances packed with other items.
Verification on Delivery
Recipients must verify the contents of packages upon delivery and report any issues before signing the delivery note. Once signed, the package is deemed delivered in good condition.Storage Charges
Unclaimed goods after 7 days may incur daily storage fees of £15-£20, depending on the size and nature of the shipment.Final Conditions
Noah Cargos will handle shipments to the best of its ability to deliver them in their original state. However, Noah Cargos is not responsible for:
Loss of content for packages delivered in original packaging.
Custom random checks:Customs reserves the right to inspect any goods or consignments being sent.
Reduced quantity or damage to items delivered as picked up.
